Loop x Pleasing Earplugs: Unboxing and First Impressions
Today I’m unboxing and trying out the new Loop x Pleasing earplugs! Pleasing is a brand created by Harry Styles, and as a huge fan, I had to get them! I’ve been wanting to try Loop earplugs for a while, and this felt like the perfect opportunity.

First Impressions
After playing a bit of viola while wearing the earplugs, I felt that the volume was much quieter, but the sound was a little muffled and muted.
I’ve been using Minuendo earplugs for a few years, and they market themselves as “lossless”. After comparing these two earplugs back to back, I absolutely found that the Minuendo earplugs were more true to the actual sound of my viola – things were quieter, but I still heard overtones and an accurate representation of my sound.
I’m going to two pop concerts this summer, so I’ll test out both earplugs then and let you know my updated thoughts!
